Atayla Varlık
He was born in Ankara in 1967. After completing his primary, secondary, and high school education at TED Ankara College, he completed his higher education at the Middle East Technical University, Department of Civil Engineering.
He completed his Master's degree in Transportation Engineering in 1993, thus earning the title of Master of Science (M.S.) in Civil Engineering.
He worked within the Kutlutaş – Scott Wilson Kirkpatrick Joint Venture on the Gerede–Ankara Motorway Project, one of Türkiye's first motorways, and served at the General Directorate of Highways, Sivas 16th Regional Directorate, as well as at the Head Office Motorway Maintenance and Operations Departments.

Following his career in the public sector, he moved to the private sector in 1994 and held various positions in different companies, including Project Manager, Coordinator, CEO, Board Member, and Board Advisor.
With 35 years of experience and expertise in Construction and Business Development, he has facilitated the establishment of numerous partnerships, the preparation of bids, the securing of contracts, and the coordination of various Infrastructure Projects.

Having served in numerous national and international organizations and professional associations, Atayla Varlık currently holds the positions of Board Member of the Turkish National Committee of Roads and Turkey Representative of the International Road Federation. He has published 3 books and thesis on transportation and infrastructure issues.
Furthermore, Mr. Atayla Varlık was appointed Honorary Consul of the Republic of Albania in Antalya in 2008.
